There are no scheduled events for December, but we do have a few early closings that you want to be aware of when planning your Red Barn trips. Hours will be as follows:

October Hayrides and Events

Hayrides are now in session and will run until October 30th.


Monday 3:30pm - 8pm*
Friday 3:30pm - 8pm
Saturday 10:30 am - 8pm

Hayride admission prices include a trip to the pumpkin patch and entrance to our maze.

All Riders $3
Babies that can not walk are free

*The pumpkin patch closes at 8, meaning the last hayride will leave the Barn at 7:40pm.


On the 30th, the patch will close at 5pm! All pumpkins are free that day!

If you need a hayride on a time or day that is not within the usual public hayride schedule, you must call the Barn at 801-754-5511 at least 24 hours in advance. It will cost usual admission OR $30, whichever is greater. Hayrides fill quickly, so call now for the best times.

Canning Tomatoes

Featuring salsa, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce.


Come learn how to use all those ripe tomatoes and peppers - and how to enjoy them all year long! This class and on-site demonstration will be taught by Utah State University extension specialist Jana Darrington. For questions, please call 801-754-5511.

The Fourth Annual Cherry Pit Spit

Cherry Pit Spit
July 31st

3-5 p.m.

Come spit a pit in the qualifying round. If you are a top spitter you will participate in the finals round at 4 pm. If you need to qualify early, pit spit court will be ready at 9am that morning.
Pie Eating Contest, face paintings, caricature drawings, games and fun for the entire family! Entry Fee $1.

Entry Fee and $1 for every ice cream sold will be donated to the Jackson family.
Come spit a pit for Amy!

May Events

May is a busy month for getting your lawn and garden just the way you want them. Here at the Red Barn we hold FREE classes to help you get the most out of your yard. In May we will hold the following classes, and hope to see you there!

Container Gardening
May 1st 10-11am (Sat.)
Meredith Seaver has a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from Utah State University and is an Adjunct Instructor for USU in their off-campus Horticulture program. Come and learn how to select and grow the best flowers for your yard to ensure beautiful flowering containers all summer long.


Warm Season Vegetable Gardening
May 4th 7-8pm (Tues.)
Adrian Hinton is a USU professor and Utah county’s extension specialist. He will bring his extensive expertise in warm season vegetable gardening to help you optimize your garden production.


Turf and Tree Care
May 22th 10-11am (Sat.)
Come and join James King as he brings his knowledge and experience to help you keep a green and healthy lawn all year long. Learn how and when to fertilize and water your lawn and how to clear up some common problems you may face during the summer months in caring for your trees and lawn.
